muxo is an Australian shopping-comparison site that brings products and offers together from multiple retailers so shoppers can compare price, availability and options in one place.
muxo (muxo.net) is an Australian shopping-comparison site. It ingests retailers’ own product datafeeds through affiliate networks, normalises them into a single catalogue, matches the same product across shops, and presents the offers side by side so a shopper can compare price, availability and options without opening a dozen tabs. It is free to use and funded by affiliate commission, disclosed on every outbound link. Categories are launched deliberately, one at a time, rather than by flooding the site with thin listings.
How muxo works, and what it won't do
These are properties of the system, not promises about it. The full commercial position is on the affiliate disclosure page.
- Every commercial link is disclosed
- Outbound retailer links carry rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" and the affiliate relationship is disclosed in the footer, on the affiliate-disclosure page, and on product pages themselves.
- Thin pages are not published
- Indexation is gated: a page has to clear inventory and content thresholds before it is advertised to search engines at all. The catalogue behind the site is far larger than the surface it publishes, on purpose.
- Commission does not set the order
- Offers are compared on price and availability. A higher commission rate does not move a retailer up a comparison, and buying guides are generated from the offer grid the page actually shows.
- Dead programs are removed, not left earning nothing
- When an advertiser contract expires its products are deactivated rather than left on the surface — an affiliate link that pays nothing still costs the shopper a click.
- Prices are refreshed, not frozen
- Feeds re-ingest on a schedule so prices and stock update in place. Every offer carries the time it was last fetched.
Brand assets
The mark is two price bars with the shorter one picked out — which is the whole proposition, drawn.
- Full lockup — dark backgrounds — Default. Use on the ink ground or any dark surface.
- Full lockup — light backgrounds — For white or pale grounds, including print.
- Mark only — Where the name already appears, or below about 90px wide.
Using the logo
- Keep clear space around the lockup of at least the height of the mark.
- Don't recolour it, stretch it, or set the wordmark in another face.
- Don't put the dark lockup on a light ground, or the light one on a dark ground.
- Files are SVG with the wordmark converted to outlines, so they need no font installed and stay sharp at any size.

Bricolage Grotesque sets headings and the wordmark;Inter sets body copy, interface text and all prices. Both are open-licence (SIL Open Font License) and self-hosted, so the site makes no third-party font request.
